The SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC 9001K92R is an extended mushroom head pushbutton operator designed as a screw-on replacement knob for 30 mm industrial control stations. It features a round, red, nonilluminated button face in a polycarbonate construction. The 1-3/8 inch screw-on knob profile provides the elevated actuation surface characteristic of mushroom head operators, giving operators a large, easy-to-locate target for emergency or frequent-cycle stop functions. Electricians and industrial control technicians install this type of operator when upgrading or replacing worn actuators on panel-mount pushbutton assemblies. The part ships as a single unit and replaces the operator head only, not the contact block.
This operator is suited for use in industrial control panels, machine tool stations, and process equipment enclosures requiring a 30 mm pushbutton footprint. It is intended for applications where a nonilluminated, high-profile red mushroom button is needed for stop, emergency-stop, or interlock functions. The red color coding follows common industrial panel conventions for stop or caution functions. Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or qualified control panel technicians in commercial and industrial environments.
Designed for use with Harmony 9001K, 9001SK, and 9001KX series 30 mm pushbuttons, as well as KR24 and SKR24 operators.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician or qualified control panel technician. De-energize and lock out the control panel in accordance with NFPA 70E and applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures before removing or installing any pushbutton operator. The screw-on knob attaches to the operator body; confirm the mating thread and operator series before installing. Do not force the knob onto an incompatible operator body, as this may damage the thread engagement or misalign the contact actuation.
