The SATCO-NUVO S9969 is a 4.5-watt G40 LED filament globe lamp designed to deliver warm, decorative light at 2000K color temperature with a transparent amber finish. Rated at 240 lumens and equivalent to a 25-watt incandescent, this lamp operates on 120 volts at 60Hz and draws only 0.038 amps. The LED filament construction produces a full 360-degree beam spread, making it well suited for exposed-bulb fixtures where the light source is visible. It is rated for enclosed fixtures and damp locations, and carries cULus safety listing. Licensed electricians and lighting contractors install this lamp as a direct replacement in medium base sockets during new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
This lamp fits residential and light commercial applications where an amber, vintage-style globe is specified. Common installations include pendant fixtures, chandeliers, string lights, wall sconces, and open decorative luminaires. Its universal burning position means it can be mounted base-up, base-down, or horizontal without affecting rated performance. The dimmable design supports reverse phase or phase-selectable dimming controls, giving installers flexibility when integrating with existing dimmer switches. With a rated life of 15,000 hours, it reduces lamp change-out frequency in hard-to-reach or high-use fixtures.
Designed as a direct replacement for standard E26 medium base G40 globe sockets in 120-volt residential and light commercial fixtures. California Title 20 exempt and rated exempt under CA regulations for lamps below 2200K.
This lamp is installed by licensed electricians or qualified lighting contractors. De-energize the fixture at the breaker before removing the existing lamp or accessing the socket. Confirm the dimmer switch is rated for LED loads and supports reverse phase or phase-selectable operation before installation; incompatible dimmers may cause flicker or reduced lamp life. Do not exceed the fixture maximum wattage rating, and verify the installation location qualifies as damp-rated or better if moisture exposure is present.
