The SANDVIK COROMANT 8037367 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metalworking applications. Part of the CoroMill Dura series, it features a 1/4 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 3-inch overall length. The three-flute geometry combined with a variable helix and variable index design reduces chatter and improves surface finish at elevated feed rates. The bright, uncoated finish and H10F carbide grade make this end mill well suited for a range of ferrous and non-ferrous workpiece materials. Machinists and tooling specialists install this tool in CNC machining centers and manual mills.
This end mill is intended for use in precision milling operations where chatter control and surface quality are priorities. The 1/4 inch shank diameter fits standard collet chucks and end mill holders commonly found in both vertical and horizontal machining centers. The right-hand cutting and right-hand flute direction make it compatible with conventional CNC spindle configurations. The centercutting capability allows plunge entry as well as peripheral and slot milling. It is suited to job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments handling steel, stainless, and similar alloys.
Part of the SANDVIK COROMANT CoroMill Dura series. Designed as a direct-fit tooling solution for standard 1/4 inch collet chucks and end mill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual milling machines.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Always power down and lock out the spindle before changing tooling, following applicable machine safety procedures. Seat the shank fully into the collet or holder and torque the retention mechanism to the machine or toolholder manufacturer specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before initiating a cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
