The SANDVIK COROMANT 8036749 is a 7-flute solid carbide square end mill designed for high-performance milling in demanding metal-cutting applications. It carries a 3/8 inch mill diameter, a 1/2 inch length of cut, and a 2 inch overall length. The AlTiN coating improves heat and wear resistance at elevated cutting speeds. A variable helix and variable index geometry reduce harmonic vibration and chatter, making this tool well-suited for finishing and semi-finishing passes in harder workpiece materials.
