The SANDVIK COROMANT 8029483 is a solid carbide milling insert carrying the ANSI and ISO designation MH20-080425E-L30 2040. It belongs to the MH20 cutter series and is designed for indexable milling operations on difficult-to-machine materials. The insert features a parallelogram shape with a positive 13-degree rake angle and a corner-rounded cutting edge style. Two cutting edges are available per insert. The CVD-applied multilayer coating stack — TiCrN, Al2O3, and TiN — provides thermal resistance and wear protection during aggressive milling passes on stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. Holding is by screw clamp.

Installation Notes
