The SANDVIK COROMANT 6868272 is an SCMT-style indexable turning insert designed for external turning and profiling operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Part of the CoroTurn 107 series, this insert features a square shape with a 90-degree included angle, a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch (0.0157-inch) corner radius. The substrate is solid carbide with a multilayer TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN coating applied via CVD.
