The SANDVIK COROMANT 6532118 is a solid carbide grooving insert designed for use in CoroCut 1-2 series toolholders on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries an N123x1L1RM insert style with a neutral hand orientation and an 8 mm cutting width, making it suited for consistent groove profiles in a range of workpiece materials. The multilayer MT-CVD coating — TiCN over Al2O3 with a TiN topcoat — provides wear resistance and heat management during interrupted or continuous grooving operations. This insert is intended for external and face grooving applications on CNC turning machines.
