The SANDVIK COROMANT 6075403 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CoroTurn 107 series, designated DCGX32.51-AL 1105. It features a 55-degree diamond shape with a TiAlN Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating, making it well suited for high-speed finishing cuts on demanding workpiece materials. The insert has a neutral hand orientation, a 0.4420-inch length, a 3/8-inch (0.3750-inch) inscribed circle, and a 1/64-inch (0.0156-inch) corner radius. Two cutting edges are available per insert. It is installed by CNC machinists and toolroom technicians working on turning centers and lathes where close tolerances and surface finish quality are priorities.
This insert is designed primarily for machining stainless steel and is also rated for superalloys and titanium. The AL chip breaker geometry is optimized for light to medium finishing passes where controlled chip formation and edge stability are critical. It is held by screw clamping and fits toolholders accepting the DCGX insert style with the corresponding G tolerance and C clearance codes. The ISO designation for this insert is DCGX 11 T3 04-AL 1105, which can be used to cross-reference compatible toolholder systems.
Compatible with DCGX-style screw-clamp toolholders conforming to G tolerance and C clearance specifications. ISO designation DCGX 11 T3 04-AL 1105 should be used to confirm toolholder and insert pocket compatibility. Intended for use in the CoroTurn 107 toolholder system.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician following the toolholder manufacturer's torque and clamping procedures for screw-retained inserts. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before seating or removing the insert. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installation to ensure proper insert contact and prevent premature edge failure. Do not exceed the recommended depth of cut or feed rate for the AL chip breaker geometry as specified in the SANDVIK COROMANT CoroTurn 107 application guidelines.
