The SANDVIK COROMANT 5782672 is a replaceable tip milling shank designed for use in modular tooling systems where quick tip changes and consistent tool runout are critical. Built to the Coromant EH interface standard, this shank features a 50 mm projection, a 10 mm straight round shank, and an E10 neck thread that connects directly to compatible replaceable milling heads. The overall length measures 3.937 inches (100 mm), and the neck and nose diameter both measure 0.378 inches (9.60 mm). Constructed from steel, this shank is suited for CNC machining centers where rigidity and dimensional repeatability are required on every tool change.
This shank is intended for use in CNC milling operations where the Coromant EH modular system is already in use. It fits into a standard straight shank toolholder or collet chuck accepting a 0.3937-inch (10 mm) shank diameter. The Exx-Axx-SE toolholder style designation makes it compatible with the EH interface ecosystem. Typical applications include profiling, slotting, and light-to-medium material removal operations in production shop environments. Installation is performed by machinists and CNC setup technicians as part of a quick-change tooling workflow.
Designed for use with the Coromant EH modular tooling system using the Exx-Axx-SE toolholder style. Accepts replaceable milling tips with an E10 thread connection. Fits toolholders with a 10 mm straight shank bore.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or CNC toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool magazine or turret is in a safe service position before handling. Thread the replaceable milling tip onto the E10 neck connection by hand first, then torque according to the tip manufacturer specification using the appropriate spanner tool. Confirm total indicator runout at the tip nose after assembly before returning the tool to service.
