The SANDVIK COROMANT 5765513 is an indexable insert drill from the CoroDrill 880 series, designed for general-purpose drilling in metal fabrication and machining applications. It accepts two 880-series inserts and delivers a maximum drill depth of 87 millimeters at a 3xD depth-to-diameter ratio. The 28 millimeter cutting diameter and 32 millimeter Weldon Flat flange shank provide rigid tool holding in standard machine spindles. Coolant is delivered through an axial concentric entry port, supporting chip evacuation and tool life in production drilling. The body is constructed from steel and is suited for use by machinists and tool-room technicians running CNC or manual drilling operations.
This drill is intended for general-purpose drilling at a 28 millimeter diameter in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The CoroDrill 880 platform is a widely used indexable drill series in production and job-shop environments. The 3xD ratio makes it suitable for moderate-depth holes without the need for peck cycles in most setups. Compatible inserts include 880-050305H-C-GM and 880-0503W05H-P-GM, covering a range of workpiece materials. The insert lock screw is part number 5513 020-57. The Weldon Flat flange shank suits toolholders and chucks designed for that shank profile.
Compatible with 880-series indexable inserts, specifically 880-050305H-C-GM and 880-0503W05H-P-GM. Insert lock screw 5513 020-57 is required. Designed for use with toolholders accepting a 32 millimeter Weldon Flat flange shank.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are fully powered down and locked out before mounting or changing inserts. Seat the shank fully in the toolholder and tighten per the toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify coolant-through connections are clear and unobstructed before initiating a drilling cycle.
