Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Power down and lock out the spindle before indexing or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate torx or hex key to tighten the insert screw to the cutter body specification provided in the tool body documentation — do not overtighten or undertighten the clamping screw. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating a new insert to ensure proper contact and runout.
