Manufactured to the ANSI and ISO standard R245-12 T3 E-AL H10, this square-shaped insert features a positive rake angle of 15 degrees and a honed cutting edge style that promotes clean, consistent cuts. With four cutting edges and a right-hand orientation, it delivers efficient use in face milling operations. The bright, uncoated H10 grade and N10 material grade classification make it well suited for work in cast iron and non-ferrous metal materials. Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tooling technician. The machine spindle must be fully stopped and the tool body secured before inserting or replacing inserts. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key as specified by the cutter body manufacturer to seat the screw-clamp securely without over-torquing the insert pocket. Inspect the insert pocket and seating surface for chips or debris before installation to ensure proper seating and accurate runout.
