The SANDVIK COROMANT 5736642 is a solid carbide grooving insert engineered for precision external and internal grooving operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Part of the T-Max Q-Cut series, this insert carries insert style designation N151.2 and is finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating for improved heat resistance and tool life at elevated cutting speeds. The cutting width measures 0.178 inches (4.52 mm) with a corner radius of 0.0075 inches (0.19 mm). The neutral hand orientation makes it suitable for a wide range of grooving setups. Manufacturer grade 1125 with a 4G chip breaker geometry provides controlled chip evacuation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
