Verify toolholder designation against the CoroTurn 107 catalog to confirm proper seating and clamping.
Insert replacement and indexing should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC tooling technician with the machine spindle stopped and all axis motion disabled per shop lockout-tagout procedures. Use the correct Torx or hex key at the manufacturer-specified clamping torque range for CoroTurn 107 screw-lock seats — consult the toolholder documentation for the applicable fastener spec. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating the new insert. Do not use a damaged or deformed clamping screw, as improper seating increases the risk of insert breakage during cutting.
