The SANDVIK COROMANT 5725907 is a solid carbide turning insert in the CoroTurn 111 series, designed for precision turning operations on stainless steel and other demanding workpiece materials. Manufactured to ISO code CPMT 09 T3 04-MF 2015, this insert features a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN that provides wear resistance and thermal stability at the cutting edge. The 80-degree diamond insert shape (CPMT style) delivers strong cutting geometry for external turning and profiling. With a 0.375-inch inscribed circle, a 0.365-inch length, and a 0.0156-inch corner radius, it is sized for light to medium stock removal passes.
