It features an 80-degree diamond insert shape with a neutral hand orientation, making it suitable for external turning and profiling operations on CNC and manual lathes. The insert carries the H13A uncoated carbide grade, a bright finish, and a KM chip breaker geometry designed to control chip flow during machining. Insert installation and replacement should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician with the machine powered off and the spindle fully stopped. Use the appropriate Torx or hex key to seat the clamping screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified torque. Inspect the insert pocket and clamping screw for wear or debris before seating a new insert. Follow all applicable machine shop safety procedures and the toolholder manufacturer's guidelines when indexing or replacing cutting inserts.
