The SANDVIK COROMANT 5723657 is a solid carbide turning insert designed for precision external turning operations on stainless steel workpieces. Part of the CoroTurn 107 series, it carries the ISO designation CCMT 06 02 04-WF 2015 and features a three-layer CVD coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN for wear resistance and heat control during cutting. The insert has an 80-degree diamond shape, a 0.25-inch inscribed circle, and a corner radius of 0.0156 inches (1/64 inch). The WF chip breaker geometry is suited for light to medium finishing cuts.
