The Samuel Mueller smtpaxr-mb is a complete single-function thermostatic shower set from the ArgoTherm collection, finished in matte black. The kit includes a 4.3125-inch diameter magnetic docking hand shower, a 9-inch stainless steel shower arm with a 2.375-inch diameter round flange cover, a thermostatic valve and trim with push-button control, and a Forever Box rough-in enclosure. The thermostatic valve uses a French VERNET cartridge, delivers scald-guard protection, and maintains a set water temperature regardless of pressure changes elsewhere in the system. Flow rate is 2.5 GPM for both the 7.5-inch diameter round showerhead and the hand shower. The valve body is solid brass with a stainless steel trim plate and handle.

This shower set is rated for both residential and commercial installations. The ArgoTherm thermostatic valve and trim are designed for in-wall mounting through a Forever Box rough-in body, which has a solid brass body with a plastic built-in box and a 9 GPM flow capacity. The 4.3125-inch round ABS hand shower magnetically docks to the showerhead and offers three spray settings: natural rain, spray, and spray-plus-rain.
