The RWC UXLBV35 is a full-port brass ball valve with a 1-1/4 inch push-to-connect end style, designed for use in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The full-port design delivers unrestricted flow through the valve body, minimizing pressure drop across the fitting. The push-to-connect end style allows for tool-free installation on compatible copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing without soldering or crimping. The brass body provides corrosion resistance suitable for potable water supply lines and general plumbing isolation applications. This valve is typically installed by licensed plumbers during new construction, remodel, or repair work.
The UXLBV35 is suited for residential water distribution systems and light commercial plumbing where a reliable shutoff valve is needed at branch lines, fixture supplies, or equipment connections. The push-to-connect end style makes it a practical choice for service work in tight spaces or when open-flame soldering is not permitted or preferred. It is commonly used on water heater supply lines, main branch shutoffs, and inline isolation points.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation shutoff valve for 1-1/4 inch nominal residential and light commercial plumbing systems using copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing with push-to-connect fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Ensure tubing ends are cut square, deburred, and fully inserted to the depth mark before engaging the push-to-connect fitting. Do not over-torque or apply rotational force to the valve body during connection, as the push-to-connect mechanism requires straight axial insertion only.
