The RWC UXL0235 is a large-diameter push-to-connect elbow fitting manufactured from dezincification-resistant (DZR) brass. It accepts 1-1/4 inch nominal pipe or tubing and creates a directional change in a water line without soldering, threading, or crimping. The push-to-connect end style allows a licensed plumber or experienced tradesperson to make a secure, watertight connection by inserting compatible pipe or tubing into the fitting until it seats fully. DZR brass construction resists the zinc leaching that can occur in aggressive water conditions, making this fitting appropriate for potable water systems.
This elbow is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a 90-degree direction change is needed on a 1-1/4 inch line. Typical installations include supply piping, main distribution lines, and branch connections in retrofit or new construction scenarios. The push-to-connect design is especially useful in tight spaces or when working with existing copper, CPVC, or PEX tubing where torch work is impractical or code-restricted.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for 1-1/4 inch nominal residential and light commercial water supply piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC) where applicable. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making any connections. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before inserting into the fitting to achieve a proper seal. Do not exceed the fitting's rated working pressure or temperature, and verify compatibility with local water chemistry before installation in potable water systems.
