The RWC UR22185A is a 3/4-inch brass push-fit ball valve designed for fast, tool-free shutoff in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built from one-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this valve accepts push-fit connections on both ends, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, or compression fittings. It is rated to 200 degrees F and 200 psi, making it suitable for a wide range of domestic water and hydronic applications. The push-fit design allows licensed plumbers and experienced installers to make a secure, leak-tested connection in seconds. UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61 certified for use in potable water systems.
This valve is suited for residential and light commercial water supply lines where a reliable inline shutoff is required. It is compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing, covering the most common pipe types found in new construction and retrofit plumbing work. The valve can be installed in concealed locations, including behind drywall and in buried applications, without concern for long-term accessibility as the push-fit connections are removable and reusable when a disconnect tool is used.
Compatible with 3/4-inch copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing. Designed as an OEM-style push-fit replacement or new-installation ball valve for residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or removing the valve. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and deburred, and that the pipe is fully inserted to the depth mark before the connection is made. To remove the fitting, use a compatible push-fit disconnect tool — do not attempt to pull the fitting free without releasing the collet.
