The RWC UR120A4 is a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch male NPT straight brass push-to-connect adapter sold in a 4-pack. It uses SharkBite-style push-fit technology, meaning no solder, glue, unions, or specialized tools are required for installation. The fitting body is made from one-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass and is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. The male iron pipe thread end connects directly to standard NPT-threaded ports. Licensed plumbers and experienced DIYers install this fitting for both new construction and repair applications where fast, reliable connections are required.

This adapter is suitable for use with copper, PEX, and CPVC piping systems in residential and light commercial plumbing. It is approved for buried installations and concealed locations such as behind drywall, making it appropriate for in-wall rough-in work. The fittings are removable using a standard disconnect clip and are reusable, which reduces material waste on multi-stage or phased installations. Compatibility

Compatible with 1/2-inch copper, PEX, and CPVC pipe. The 1/2-inch MNPT end connects to any standard female NPT-threaded port of the same size.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified tradespeople in accordance with local plumbing codes and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC). Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making or removing any connection. Pipe ends must be cut cleanly and squarely, deburred, and free of dirt or moisture before insertion into the push-fit socket. To remove the fitting, use a manufacturer-approved disconnect clip to release the grab ring before pulling the pipe free.
