Product Description

The RWC UR072A is a 1/2-inch by 1/2-inch female NPT straight adapter in the SharkBite push-to-connect fitting line. It joins a push-to-connect end to a female iron pipe thread (FNPT) connection without solder, glue, unions, or specialty tools. The fitting is machined from single-piece DZR brass and is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. Lead content on wetted surfaces does not exceed 0.25% weighted average, meeting current lead-free requirements. The fitting is removable using a standard disconnect clip and is fully reusable after removal. Licensed plumbers and qualified trades install this fitting on new construction and repair work alike.

This adapter is suitable for residential and light commercial plumbing systems. It is compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipe on the push-to-connect end. The FNPT end connects directly to threaded valves, drop-ear elbows, fixtures, and similar threaded components. Installation Notes
