The RWC U895W20 is a 2-inch diameter PEX-B flexible tubing in white, sold in a 20-foot length and manufactured to ASTM F1807 crimp standards. Rated as lead free, this tubing is designed for potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications in residential and light commercial construction. PEX-B is cross-linked using the moisture-cure silane method, which produces a tubing with strong burst-pressure resistance and the flexibility needed to navigate framing cavities and mechanical chases. Plumbers and pipefitters select this product for both new construction rough-in and retrofit repiping work where rigid copper or CPVC is impractical.
This tubing is suited for hot and cold potable water supply systems, in-floor radiant heat distribution, and baseboard hydronic systems. The 2-inch diameter targets main distribution trunk lines and larger branch runs where high flow capacity is required. The white color coding is commonly associated with cold water lines in color-coded PEX installations, though it is appropriate for both hot and cold service. The F1807 crimp specification means terminations are made with copper crimp rings and a calibrated crimp tool per standard installation practice.
Designed for use with ASTM F1807-compliant copper crimp rings and insert fittings sized for 2-inch PEX-B tubing in residential and light commercial potable water and hydronic heating systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Use a calibrated PEX crimp tool and a go/no-go gauge to verify every crimp ring connection meets ASTM F1807 dimensional requirements. Avoid kinking the tubing during routing and maintain minimum bend radius per the manufacturer and code guidelines.
