The RWC U3525LFA is a chrome-plated, push-to-connect brass faucet adapter designed for direct connection between supply lines and faucet inlets. The fitting measures 1/4 inch SharkBite (SB) on one end and 1/2 inch Female Iron Pipe Size (FIPS) on the other. Constructed from one-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, it is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. The chrome plating provides corrosion resistance in finished plumbing spaces. Plumbers install this adapter when transitioning from a push-to-connect supply stub-out to a standard faucet tailpiece thread.
This adapter suits residential and light commercial faucet installations where a push-to-connect supply connection terminates at a 1/2 inch FIPS faucet port. It is compatible with copper, CTS (copper tube size), PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), and CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) tubing, making it versatile across common residential plumbing systems. The fitting is individually bagged and sold as a single unit, appropriate for single-faucet service connections under sinks, in vanities, or in similar finished spaces.
Designed for use with copper, CTS, PEX, and CPVC tubing. Connects a 1/4 inch SharkBite push-to-connect supply line to a 1/2 inch FIPS faucet inlet. Suitable for residential and light commercial faucet supply applications.
Licensed plumbers should shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installing or removing this fitting. Tubing must be cut cleanly and squarely, and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect end to ensure a proper seal. When used with PEX or CPVC, verify that the tubing outside diameter conforms to CTS dimensions before installation. Work must comply with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements.
