The RWC U138LFA is a bullnose brass push-to-connect male adapter designed for fast, tool-free transitions between push-fit pipe and male iron pipe (MNPT) threaded connections. Sized at 3/4 inch push-fit inlet by 1/2 inch MNPT outlet, this fitting eliminates soldering, gluing, and unions from the connection process. Constructed from one-piece DZR brass, it is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. The lead-free construction meets the 0.25% weighted average lead content threshold on wetted surfaces, making it compliant for potable water systems. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in both new construction and repair applications.
The U138LFA is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems where a push-fit to threaded male connection is needed. It is compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC pipe. The fitting can be buried in soil or installed behind drywall without additional protection, making it a practical choice for concealed rough-in work. It ships individually bagged and is sold by the each.
Compatible with copper, PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), and CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) pipe. Accepts 3/4 inch push-fit pipe on the inlet and connects to 1/2 inch MNPT threaded fittings on the outlet.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and local jurisdictional requirements. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making or breaking any connection. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and deburred before inserting into the push-fit collar. Use an approved disconnect clip tool to remove the fitting without damaging the pipe or fitting body.
