The RWC U134LFA is a straight push-to-connect male adapter with a 3/4-inch male iron pipe thread (MNPT) end, designed for fast, tool-free plumbing connections in residential and light commercial water distribution systems. Built from one-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, it is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. The push-to-connect end eliminates the need for solder, glue, unions, or specialty tools, allowing a licensed plumber or experienced tradesperson to make a secure connection quickly and with minimal disruption to surrounding work areas.
This adapter is suited for use in potable water supply lines where a transition from push-connect tubing to a male NPT threaded fitting is required. Typical applications include connecting flexible tubing runs to valves, manifolds, water heaters, and other threaded components. The fitting is rated for concealed installations, including buried applications and placement behind drywall, making it appropriate for finish plumbing and retrofit work where access after installation is limited. It ships individually bagged and is sold as a single unit.
Compatible with copper, PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), and CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) tubing. The 3/4-inch MNPT end is designed to thread into standard female NPT fittings, valves, and equipment ports.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making or removing any connections. Ensure tubing is cut square and deburred before inserting into the push-to-connect end; a depth mark on the tube confirms full insertion. To disconnect, use a manufacturer-approved disconnect clip to release the collet before removing the tube.
