The RWC U134LF is a straight male connector designed for fast, reliable pipe connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built with a 3/4-inch nominal size, it transitions between a push-fit inlet and a male NPT threaded outlet, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, or special tools on the push-fit side. The brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in both hot and cold water applications. This fitting is lead-free compliant, making it suitable for potable water systems where local codes require LF-rated components. Plumbers and pipefitters install this connector when joining copper, CPVC, or PEX pipe to threaded fittings, valves, or fixtures.
The U134LF is used in residential water supply lines, fixture connections, and retrofit plumbing work where a quick, secure push-fit connection to a male-threaded component is needed. Its push-fit inlet accepts standard 3/4-inch pipe, allowing for fast installation in tight spaces or during repairs where torch work is not practical or permitted. The MNPT outlet threads directly into female-threaded valves, manifolds, and fixture supply ports.
Designed as an OEM-style push-fit fitting for 3/4-inch copper, CPVC, and PEX pipe in residential and light commercial plumbing systems.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before fitting removal or installation. Ensure pipe ends are cut cleanly and deburred before inserting into the push-fit inlet, as burrs or debris can damage the internal collet and seal. Thread the MNPT outlet into female-threaded ports by hand first, then tighten with a wrench using thread sealant or PTFE tape per IPC and local plumbing code requirements.
