The RWC U110LFA is a reducing brass push-to-connect male adapter designed for fast, tool-free plumbing connections in residential and light commercial water supply systems. It transitions from a 1/4 inch push-to-connect inlet to a 1/2 inch male NPT (MNPT) threaded outlet, eliminating the need for soldering, glue, unions, or specialized tools. Constructed from one-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass with wetted surfaces containing no more than 0.25% weighted average lead content, it is rated for service up to 200 degrees F and 200 psi. Licensed plumbers and qualified contractors install this fitting wherever a quick, reliable push-fit to threaded male connection is required.
The U110LFA is suited for potable water supply applications in residential and commercial plumbing. It accepts copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing on the push-to-connect end, making it a versatile choice when connecting to existing iron pipe threads. The fitting can be concealed behind drywall or buried in approved applications. It ships individually bagged and is sold as a single unit, making it practical for service calls, repairs, and new construction alike.
Compatible with copper, PEX (cross-linked polyethylene), and CPVC (chlorinated polyvinyl chloride) tubing on the push-to-connect end. Threaded end connects to standard 1/2 inch male NPT iron pipe fittings.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers in accordance with the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC) and local authority requirements. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before making or removing any connection. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and deburred before insertion into the push-to-connect end. To remove the fitting, use a manufacturer-approved disconnect clip — do not pull on tubing without fully engaging the release tool.
