The RWC SBDC35 is a 1-1/4 inch demount clip designed for use with SharkBite push-to-connect plumbing fittings. This small but essential tool allows plumbers and pipefitters to disconnect push-to-connect fittings quickly and without damage to the fitting body or pipe. The clip seats around the fitting collar and depresses the release ring evenly, enabling clean removal in tight spaces where fingers alone cannot generate enough uniform pressure. It is a standard service accessory kept on most residential and commercial plumbing service trucks.
The SBDC35 is used during installation, repair, and retrofit work on push-to-connect plumbing systems where 1-1/4 inch fittings are present. Typical applications include water supply lines, hydronic distribution piping, and general potable water plumbing in residential and light commercial settings. Plumbers use this clip when reconnecting or repositioning fittings during rough-in corrections, leak repairs, or system modifications without cutting out the fitting.
Designed for use with SharkBite SB-series push-to-connect fittings in the 1-1/4 inch size. Per supplier data, this part has been replaced by UXLDC35.
Installation and removal of push-to-connect fittings should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before attempting to disconnect any fitting. Slide the demount clip squarely around the fitting collar before applying removal force to avoid uneven loading on the release ring. Inspect the pipe end and O-ring seating area before reconnecting any previously removed fitting.
