The RWC PP011623W is a push-to-connect male adapter fitting designed to transition plastic or copper tubing to a female NPTF threaded connection. The body is molded from white polypropylene, providing strong chemical resistance and corrosion resistance suitable for potable water service. Inside the fitting, 301 stainless steel gripping teeth lock onto the inserted pipe, while a food-grade EPDM O-ring compresses around the tubing to form a leak-free seal. No special tools are required for installation. The fitting accommodates a 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch pipe size range and is NSF certified for use in drinking water systems.
This fitting is intended for residential and light commercial potable water distribution applications. Typical installations include ice machines, water dispensers, under-sink faucet supply lines, and similar point-of-use connections where a quick, reliable transition from tubing to a threaded female port is needed. The push-to-connect mechanism speeds up rough-in and service work. Licensed plumbers and experienced service technicians are the primary installers of this type of fitting in regulated plumbing systems.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect male adapter for potable water tubing systems, compatible with plastic or copper pipe in the 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch size range connecting to female NPTF threaded ports.
Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or removing this fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is fully inserted to the tube stop before pressurizing the system. Installation must comply with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines for potable water fittings. To remove tubing, depress the collet ring evenly while pulling the tube straight out.
