The RWC 24631LF is a SharkBite No-Kink 45-degree hose bibb designed to deliver reliable outdoor water flow while eliminating hose kinking at the connection point. The 45-degree body angle redirects the hose downward at install, reducing stress on the hose coupling and the connection itself. Built from a one-piece forged brass body, this valve accepts a 3/4-inch push-to-connect inlet and terminates at a 3/4-inch male hose thread (MHT) outlet. A quarter-turn ball valve mechanism controls flow, allowing the installer to open or shut off supply with a single 90-degree handle rotation. An integrated mounting flange is included for securing the valve to siding, masonry, or framing.
This hose bibb is suited for residential and light commercial potable water applications where an exterior hose connection is needed. The push-to-connect inlet accepts copper, PEX, CPVC, or PE-RT pipe without solder, glue, unions, or specialty tooling, making it a practical choice for new rough-in work or service replacements. Plumbers and licensed plumbing contractors are the typical installers. The 45-degree body orientation is particularly useful when the supply stub-out exits the wall at a height or angle that would cause a straight bibb to put lateral stress on a connected garden hose.
The push-to-connect inlet is compatible with 3/4-inch copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipe. The 3/4-inch MHT outlet is compatible with standard garden hose fittings. No additional fittings, solder, or adhesive are required at the inlet connection.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before cutting into the existing supply pipe. The push-to-connect inlet requires that pipe ends be cut square, deburred, and fully inserted to the depth mark before pressurizing. Secure the mounting flange to a solid backing surface — blocking or a structural member — to support the weight of a connected hose. Refer to local plumbing codes for frost-protection and backflow-prevention requirements at exterior hose bibbs.
