The RWC 24630LF is a SharkBite No-Kink 45 Degree Hose Bibb designed to deliver reliable outdoor or utility water supply while eliminating hose kinks at the connection point. The 45-degree angle body positions the hose outlet downward, reducing stress on the hose at the point of attachment. The inlet uses SharkBite push-to-connect technology, accepting 1/2 inch pipe with no solder, glue, or specialty tools required. The outlet is a standard 3/4 inch Male Hose Thread (MHT). The one-piece forged brass body provides long-term durability, and a quarter-turn ball valve mechanism allows fast, full shutoff or flow control. An integrated mounting flange is included for securing the valve to a wall or structural surface.
This hose bibb is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations where a garden hose or utility hose connection is needed. The push-to-connect inlet makes it a practical choice for retrofit and new construction applications alike, particularly where open-flame soldering is restricted or undesirable. The 45-degree body angle is especially useful on installations where a straight bibb would place the hose under tension or cause kinking at the spigot. Compatible pipe types for the inlet include copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT.
The push-to-connect inlet is compatible with 1/2 inch copper, PEX, CPVC, and PE-RT pipe. No additional fittings, solder, or adhesive are required for the inlet connection.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or qualified tradespeople in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into the supply line. Ensure the pipe end is cut cleanly and deburred, and that the pipe is fully inserted to the depth mark before pressurizing the system. The mounting flange should be fastened to a solid backing to prevent movement and reduce stress on the connection.
