The RWC 23102CP25 is a 1/2 inch copper PEX crimp ring sold in a 25-pack, designed for securing barbed fittings to PEX pipe in hydronic, potable water, and plumbing distribution systems. The crimp ring installs on the outside of the PEX pipe and is compressed with a crimp tool to lock the barbed fitting in place, creating a reliable, leak-resistant mechanical connection. Plumbers and plumbing contractors use these rings during new construction and retrofit work wherever PEX tubing is run with barbed-style fittings. The copper material provides corrosion resistance and long-term durability in both hot and cold water applications.
These crimp rings are suited for residential and light commercial plumbing installations using 1/2 inch PEX pipe. They are commonly used in supply line runs, manifold connections, and fixture drops where barbed crimp fittings are the specified connection method. The 25-pack quantity is practical for single-project or multi-fixture jobs, reducing the need for multiple small orders on active job sites.
Designed for use with 1/2 inch barbed PEX crimp fittings and 1/2 inch PEX pipe in standard plumbing installations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber following local plumbing codes and ASTM F1807 guidelines. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before cutting and connecting PEX pipe. A calibrated PEX crimp tool is required to properly compress the ring — do not substitute with non-rated tools. After crimping, verify the connection with a go/no-go gauge before restoring pressure.
