The RWC 23101CP25 is a 3/8 inch copper PEX crimp ring sold in a 25-pack, designed for use with barbed PEX fittings in potable water and hydronic systems. The crimp ring fits over the outside of the PEX pipe and, when compressed with a PEX crimp tool, forms a leak-resistant mechanical connection around a barbed insert fitting. Plumbers and pipe fitters use these rings as a reliable, code-accepted method for joining PEX tubing in residential and light commercial applications. The copper construction resists corrosion and meets standard dimensional requirements for 3/8 inch PEX crimp connections.
These crimp rings are suited for 3/8 inch PEX-A, PEX-B, and PEX-C tubing in domestic water supply, radiant floor heating, and plumbing rough-in work. They are installed alongside barbed insert fittings — the fitting seats inside the pipe, the crimp ring is positioned over the pipe end, and a calibrated crimp tool compresses the ring to spec. The 25-pack quantity is practical for service calls, remodels, and new construction rough-ins where multiple connections are required at one time.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard-use crimp ring for 3/8 inch PEX tubing systems using barbed insert fittings and a PEX crimp tool.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified pipefitter. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning work. Use a calibrated PEX crimp tool sized for 3/8 inch rings and verify the connection with a go/no-go gauge after crimping. Follow local plumbing codes, including applicable IPC requirements, for PEX installations in potable water systems.
