The RWC 23057LF is a lead-free, quarter-turn straight stop valve featuring a 1/2-inch CopperFit (CF) barb inlet and a 3/8-inch OD compression outlet. Built for PEX water distribution systems, this valve gives plumbers a fast, reliable shutoff at fixture supply connections without soldering or crimping tools. The body is machined from DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass with a chrome finish, offering strong corrosion resistance in potable water service. The quarter-turn ball-style operation provides a positive open-close action that is easy to confirm in the field. Sold individually, it is sized for residential and light commercial under-sink and appliance supply applications.
This stop valve is designed for PEX tubing water distribution systems where a push-to-connect barb inlet simplifies the rough-in or retrofit process. The 3/8-inch OD compression outlet connects directly to standard flexible supply lines used on lavatories, toilets, icemakers, and similar fixtures. It is well suited for new construction, remodel work, and service replacement where reducing labor time at the fixture stub-out is a priority. Licensed plumbers and experienced plumbing contractors are the primary installers.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation stop valve for residential and light commercial PEX water distribution systems requiring a 1/2-inch CF barb inlet and a 3/8-inch OD compression outlet at fixture supply connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before making or breaking any connections. The barb inlet requires no additional tools for PEX insertion, but ensure tubing is cut cleanly and fully seated before pressurizing. Do not overtighten the compression nut at the outlet; hand-snug plus a quarter to half turn with a wrench is the standard practice for compression fittings.
