The RWC 22788A is a six-port, flow-through open manifold designed for PEX barb plumbing systems. It accepts a 3/4 inch PEX inlet and a 3/4 inch PEX exit, and distributes flow through six 1/2 inch PEX barb outlet ports. Built to handle up to 200 psi maximum working pressure and up to 200 degrees F maximum working temperature, this manifold is suited for demanding residential and light commercial water distribution applications. Licensed plumbers and PEX installers use this fitting to centralize branch circuits in a home-run or radiant distribution layout.
This manifold is used in residential and light commercial potable water systems where a central distribution point is needed for PEX branch lines. It is well suited for home-run plumbing layouts in new construction or remodel work, where individual supply lines run directly from the manifold to each fixture. The 3/4 inch main line connections maintain flow capacity across all six outlets, and the barb-style connections provide a reliable mechanical grip on PEX tubing when used with appropriate crimp or clamp rings.
Designed as an OEM-style fitting for residential and light commercial PEX barb plumbing systems using 3/4 inch main lines and 1/2 inch branch lines.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the main water supply and depressurize the system before connecting or removing any fittings. Secure all PEX barb connections with approved crimp rings or clamp rings using the correct installation tool rated for the tubing size. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature during operation.
