The RWC 22223-0000LFA is a 1-inch brass push-fit ball valve designed for quick, tool-free shut-off in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built from 1-piece DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass, this valve accepts push-fit connections on both ends, eliminating the need for soldering, clamps, or crimping tools. It is rated to 200 degrees F and 200 psi, making it suitable for hot and cold domestic water service. Certifications include UPC, IAPMO, and NSF-61, confirming compliance with potable water safety standards. Licensed plumbers and qualified installers use this valve for main line shut-offs, fixture isolation, and branch line service.
The 22223-0000LFA is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where quick valve installation or retrofit is required. It connects directly to copper, PEX, or CPVC pipe without transition fittings or special adapters. The push-fit design makes it practical for tight spaces, repair situations, and new construction alike. Because the fitting is rated for burial and behind-drywall installation, it can be used in concealed locations per local code requirements. Each valve is individually bagged and sold as a single unit.
Compatible with 1-inch copper, PEX, and CPVC pipe. Suitable for potable hot and cold water plumbing systems where push-fit connections are permitted by local code.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any existing line. Pipe ends must be cut square, deburred, and free of debris before inserting into the push-fit connection. When removing the fitting for reuse, a disconnect clip or removal tool appropriate for SharkBite-style fittings is required — do not attempt to pull the fitting free without releasing the collet.
