It ships with a factory-installed TXV metering device and is compatible with both R-22 and R-410A refrigerants, as well as heat pump applications. The cabinet measures 21.75 inches wide, 24.5 inches tall, and 32 inches deep, and is fully lined with 5/8-inch foil-faced insulation to limit heat gain and cabinet air leakage. Licensed HVAC technicians install this coil as part of a split-system or package replacement. The multi-position orientation supports horizontal, upflow, and downflow configurations depending on the install scenario.
The RCF4824HTAMCA is suited for residential forced-air systems paired with gas or oil furnaces and compatible split-system condensing units. Its multi-position design makes it adaptable to a range of equipment room layouts, including horizontal attic installations and vertical closet applications. The 3/4-inch by 3/8-inch refrigerant line connections accommodate standard residential line set sizing. Where piston metering is preferred instead of TXV, the coil includes an externally accessible piston body for straightforward field conversion.

Verify proper condensate drain slope and trap configuration before returning the system to service.
