The RUST-OLEUM S6510413 is a 100 percent solids, high-build epoxy floor coating from the 6500 System Concrete Saver line. It delivers a high-gloss finish engineered for industrial and commercial concrete floors subject to heavy foot traffic, rubber-tired vehicles, and intermittent chemical spills. Sold as a 1-gallon unit of the clear base component, this coating bonds to new, old, bare, or previously coated concrete. With low VOC content under 100 g/L, it meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities. Licensed flooring applicators and industrial maintenance crews are the primary installers.
This coating is suited for warehouses, distribution centers, laboratories, food processing areas, and other high-traffic industrial settings where floor durability and chemical resistance are required. It accepts light foot traffic in approximately 10 hours and heavy traffic in approximately 72 hours, making it practical for facilities that cannot afford extended downtime. The 6500 System is a two-component product — this gallon is the base color component; the activator must be ordered separately. It is also recommended for use with 108 Cleaning Etching Solution for surface preparation and Decorative Vinyl Chips for finish aesthetics.
Designed for use on concrete floors in industrial and commercial settings including warehouses, laboratories, and food processing facilities. Part of the RUST-OLEUM 6500 System — requires a separately purchased activator component to cure. Recommended for use with RUST-OLEUM 108 Cleaning Etching Solution and Decorative Vinyl Chips.
Installation is typically performed by licensed flooring applicators or experienced industrial maintenance technicians. Concrete must be clean, dry, and properly profiled — acid etching or mechanical abrasion per the manufacturer system instructions is standard practice before application. Mix the base and activator components thoroughly per the system ratio before applying; do not apply as a single-component coating. Allow full cure time before returning surfaces to heavy traffic service.
