The RUST-OLEUM HS9401402 is the activator component for the Rust-Oleum 9400 System High Gloss Polyester Urethane, a two-component polyurethane finish engineered for severe-environment corrosion protection. Sold as a 1-gallon unit, this activator must be combined with a separately ordered 9400 System base color to form the complete finish coat. The cured system delivers ultra-high gloss with exceptional color retention and resists impact, abrasion, and aggressive chemicals including muriatic acid. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities. Licensed painters and industrial coating applicators are the primary installers.
