The RUST-OLEUM A910008300 is the Fast Cure Activator for the Rust-Oleum 9100 System DTM Epoxy Mastic, sold in a 5 gallon container. This two-component activator mixes with the 9100 base coat at a 1:1 ratio to produce a tough, chemical-resistant epoxy film designed for direct-to-metal and multi-substrate applications. The fast cure formulation cuts recoat time to 4 hours at 70 degrees F and 50 percent relative humidity, reducing downtime on active job sites. Licensed coating contractors and industrial painters apply this product where schedule and surface protection are both critical. The finished coating delivers long-term resistance to solvents, chemicals, abrasion, and impact. Package weight is 50 pounds.
This activator is intended for use in industrial and commercial coating projects where the 9100 System DTM Epoxy Mastic base coat is specified. It is suited for air and surface temperatures ranging from 50 to 100 degrees F. Typical applications include structural steel, fabricated metal components, and other substrates requiring a high-performance protective epoxy finish. The fast cure version produces slightly lower gloss than the standard activator. The 9100 system also meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities, making it appropriate for food processing environments when applied per system guidelines.
