The RUST-OLEUM 9815419 is a high-performance, two-component direct-to-metal (DTM) urethane mastic coating formulated for industrial metal surfaces. It delivers a high-solids, high-build finish in an Alumi-Non gloss appearance, providing maximum corrosion resistance without requiring a separate primer on properly prepared metal. The formula is sag resistant and engineered to maintain durable color retention in moderate to severe industrial environments. Licensed coating applicators and industrial painters rely on this product for structures and equipment that demand long-term protection. The base and activator are ordered separately and mixed on-site before application.
This coating is designed for industrial and commercial applications including storage tanks, towers, structural steel, and metal process equipment exposed to aggressive conditions. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food processing facilities, making it suitable for food and beverage plant environments where coating compliance is required.
For best results, apply over HS9300 System Epoxy Primer in red or gray. Designed for use on tanks, towers, metal equipment, and structural steel in moderate to severe industrial settings. Available in gallon and five-gallon sizes.
Application should be performed by qualified industrial coating professionals following the manufacturer mix ratio instructions for the base and activator components. Surface preparation per SSPC standards is critical prior to application — all rust, mill scale, and contaminants must be removed. Follow all local ventilation, PPE, and VOC regulations applicable to two-component urethane coatings in your jurisdiction. Do not apply to surfaces that are wet or when ambient conditions fall outside the product-recommended temperature and humidity range.
