Product Description

The RUST-OLEUM 9410402 is a two-component, high-gloss polyester urethane topcoat designed for severe-duty industrial and commercial applications. Part of the 9400 System, this 1-gallon clear gloss finish delivers ultra-high gloss retention, outstanding corrosion resistance, and strong resistance to impact, abrasion, and aggressive chemicals including muriatic acid. It is intended for use by industrial painters and coating contractors working in coastal, offshore, or chemically aggressive environments where standard topcoats fall short. The base color component requires a separate activator to cure properly.

This coating is suited for structural steel, vehicles, tanks, and other metal substrates exposed to severe environmental conditions including salt air and chemical splash. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities, making it appropriate for food processing and industrial plant environments.
