The RUST-OLEUM 9405405 is a two-component, high-performance polyester urethane topcoat formulated for maximum corrosion resistance in severe service environments. Part of the 9400 System, this 1-gallon unit delivers an ultra-high-gloss finish in red and is engineered for structural steel, tanks, vehicles, and heavy industrial equipment exposed to aggressive chemical, coastal, or offshore conditions. The cured film resists impact, abrasion, and harsh chemicals including muriatic acid. This product is the base color component only — the activator must be ordered separately to complete the two-component system. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities.
