The RUST-OLEUM 9171300 is a two-component, direct-to-metal (DTM) epoxy mastic coating supplied in a 5-gallon container in a Dunes Tan gloss finish. This self-priming formula bonds directly to metal and a wide range of other substrates without a separate primer coat, delivering superior long-term resistance to solvents, chemicals, abrasion, and impact. The 1:1 mixing ratio by volume requires no measuring equipment, simplifying job-site preparation. Applied by industrial painters, maintenance crews, and coating contractors, it is appropriate for structural steel, equipment housings, floor surfaces, and similar demanding environments where corrosion protection is a primary requirement.

This coating is suited for industrial and commercial maintenance painting projects, including floor-coating applications on steel and concrete substrates. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and is accepted for use in federally registered Canadian food facilities.
