The RUST-OLEUM 9109408 is a two-component, direct-to-metal (DTM) epoxy mastic coating designed to deliver maximum corrosion protection in a single coat. It self-primes on a wide range of substrates, eliminating the need for a separate primer coat. The 1:1 mixing ratio by volume means no measuring equipment is required. Formulated for superior long-term resistance to solvents, chemicals, abrasion, and impact, this coating is suited for industrial and commercial maintenance applications where coating durability is critical. It meets USDA requirements for incidental food contact and carries a two-year rust-proof guarantee. VOC content is below 340 grams per liter.

This coating is intended for use on metal structures, equipment, and concrete surfaces in industrial, commercial, and food-processing environments. Multiple activator options extend its range of use: a Standard Activator for air and surface temperatures of 50 to 100 degrees F, a Low-Temperature Activator for conditions of 40 to 60 degrees F, an Immersion Activator for fresh or salt water immersion of steel or concrete where water temperatures do not exceed 125 degrees F, and a Fast-Cure Activator that allows recoat in 4 hours at 70 degrees F and 50 percent relative humidity. The base color and activator are ordered separately. This product is well suited to floor-coating applications.

Installation Notes
