The RUST-OLEUM 6086408 is a water-based, two-component epoxy floor coating from the Concrete Saver 6000 System line. It delivers a durable, high-gloss finish in Navy Gray and is formulated for moderate industrial and commercial floor applications. The coating handles heavy foot traffic, handcarts, forklifts, and lightweight rubber-wheeled equipment. It can withstand occasional exposure to steam, hot water, high humidity, and mild chemicals. Sold as the base color component, it requires a separate activator to complete the two-component system. Cleanup requires only soap and water, and the formulation carries a low flammability risk. Licensed flooring and coating applicators are the typical installers.
This coating is suited for concrete floors in moderate industrial settings such as warehouses, light manufacturing spaces, garage floors, and similar environments. The extended pot life gives applicators a longer working window, which is useful for larger floor areas. It is compatible with Decorative Vinyl Chips and 200 Anti-Skid Floor Coating Additive for enhanced aesthetics and slip resistance. The water-based formula delivers performance comparable to solvent-based epoxy systems while simplifying site safety and cleanup logistics.
Designed for use with a separately ordered activator as part of the Concrete Saver 6000 System. Compatible with Decorative Vinyl Chips and the 200 Anti-Skid Floor Coating Additive.
This product is a two-component system — the base color and activator must be ordered and mixed separately before application. Surface preparation is critical for epoxy adhesion; concrete should be clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, and existing coatings before application. Power down any equipment in the work area and ensure adequate ventilation during mixing and application. Follow all applicable local building codes and the manufacturer mixing instructions for proper pot life management.
