The RUST-OLEUM 353867 is a two-component, water-based urethane floor coating formulated for both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Sold as a 1-gallon kit in Dunes Tan with a gloss finish, it delivers excellent chemical, abrasion, and UV resistance in a single system. The two components mix easily with a 60-minute pot life, giving installers adequate working time on larger surface areas. Non-yellowing chemistry keeps color consistent over time. Suitable for interior and exterior applications, this coating is installed by painting contractors, industrial maintenance crews, and facilities technicians working in commercial and institutional environments.
This coating is designed for use on concrete, wood, aluminum, prepared drywall, and galvanized metal. Recommended environments include cafeterias, clean rooms, healthcare facilities, manufacturing plants, and warehouses. Its anti-graffiti barrier coat properties make it a practical choice for high-traffic wall and floor surfaces exposed to vandalism or heavy soiling. Apply only when air, material, and floor temperatures are between 50 and 95 degrees F and relative humidity is below 80 percent. Two coats are recommended, with a minimum of 6 hours and a maximum of 24 hours dry time between coats.
Designed for application on horizontal and vertical surfaces including concrete, wood, aluminum, prepared drywall, and galvanized metal in interior and exterior commercial and industrial environments.
Surface preparation is critical before application — substrate must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and loose material. Mix both components thoroughly per manufacturer instructions before use and apply within the 60-minute pot life window. Allow a minimum of 6 hours between coats and do not recoat after 24 hours without proper surface preparation. Follow all local VOC regulations and safety guidelines when handling two-component coating systems.
