The RUST-OLEUM 318207 is a two-component phenalkamine epoxy coating from the 9200 System line, formulated for high-build, direct-to-metal application in demanding industrial and commercial environments. This 5-gallon unit delivers a gloss blue finish with low HAPS content, making it a compliant choice for facilities with air-quality requirements. It is designed for licensed coating applicators and industrial maintenance professionals who need reliable corrosion protection on a variety of substrates, including damp or marginally prepared surfaces. The formula wets aggressively, cures at low ambient temperatures, and is suitable for both atmospheric exposures and water immersion service.
The 318207 is well suited for protective coating applications in water infrastructure, industrial facilities, and commercial maintenance projects. Its certification for use in potable water storage tanks with a minimum capacity of 4,000 gallons makes it appropriate for municipal and private water storage structures. The self-priming, high-build formulation reduces prep steps and coat counts on steel, concrete, and other common substrates. It is compatible with many RUST-OLEUM topcoats, supporting full coating system builds. Order base color and activator separately, as this is a two-component system.
Compatible with many RUST-OLEUM topcoats as part of a full coating system. Suitable for use over a variety of substrates including steel and concrete. Certified for potable water storage tanks exceeding 4,000 gallons in accordance with NSF/ANSI/CAN 600.
Application should be performed by qualified coating applicators familiar with two-component epoxy systems. Mix base and activator components thoroughly in the correct ratio before application and observe all induction times per the product data sheet. Surfaces should be clean and properly profiled per project specifications even when the formula tolerates damp conditions. Follow all applicable local and federal VOC and safety regulations during mixing, application, and cleanup.
